I have a partner acs 6 wit partner vmail 5 2 ports 48 mail boxes i have tryed to set up voice record i did in in the partner mail admin under extensions option 7 and giving 60 min of voice record and set feture 24 to a button with a light. the red light is always on . when i hit the button in a call nothing happens. so i did a factory restart of the acs and vmail system reprogramd everything auto attendends resetup the voice mail box under admin for voice recorde and same thin i need help in any way thank you

I might be wrong but I think you need a Partner Messaging for that.

You may be right but many people told me this should work. I mean even when i log into the voicemail system pick option 9 and manage mailboxes option 4 when im in mail box management for an extension it says press option 7 to manage record a call and it says its enabled for 60 min so i duno this is just in my home and i get alot of harrasing calls i want to record

i read online i need to make it 4 port so if i can obtain a 4 port card what ports dor i asign to vmail i have 30 31 so would it be 30 31 32 33 or 28 29 30 31?

Yes, you need a 4-port card to use the call record feature. Your voicemail extensions will then be 28-29-30-31

sorry for so many questions i use to rember all this but my system hasent been used in 6 months cause i moved the 4 port expansion card will make it a total of 4 ports. correct? not 6. correct? and once again i thank all of you for your help
