Hi all,

I have a field called RM_INSTRUCTION.INSTRUCTION_TIME this is a datetime field.

when I drag it into a report it returns as expected as a datetime field.

however when I add this table to a report and drag the field onto the page its only returning as a date, and when I right click and browse field data it thinks its a date field.

Is there something really stupid I am doing?!?!?

Thanks.

David.

My GUESS, as not a CR guy, is that it IS Date/Time, but you have a report FORMATTING issue, because Date/Time can be FORMATTED to DISPLAY DATE only or TIME only or, if the Date/Time were today: Friday May 18 2012 7:24 AM or Fri 18 May 12 07:24 or 5-18-12 7:24:56 or, or, or....

What version of CR are you using? Some early versions allowed the user to convert datetimes to dates in file->report options. Also if you open a report in a new version of CR that was created with an earlier version with this option set, you could also see this behavior.
