Hipath 4000 V2 how to check logs and VM MWI problem

Hello,

Does anyone know how to check the logs from AMO?

In particular, I am hoping to find log data on a certain PEN (pen,1,1,13,1) Which goes to our voicemail server.

Seems our VM server MWI (Message Waitin Indicator) intermittently does not come on for users with new voice mails unless I reset the PEN and/or restart the Voice Mail server.

Thanks!

I don't know if it's the right log information, but you can get some information by using STA-HISTA. I use the SEARCHB parameter to search backwards from a date. Use the question mark when asked for a date because they have a funky format for entry. Note the start time and end time are the beginning and end times of the window you want.

Hope that gives you some of what you want. On 9006 I use it quite a bit, but I don't think I've fired it up on the 4000 yet in over 2 years.

Thanks Donb, sta-hista seems to work..
