Report gives extra page after 2010 conversionHelpful Member!

We upgraded our Access 2000 to 2003 and then loaded 2010.

Seemed to go well. But the first report that we printed did the following. It is supposed to be a one page report. Page 1 is still good. However, we get a second page with the Report header and footer info. We do not want the 2nd page.

I cannot figure out why i get this extra page. Any ideas? thanks.

Did you check the report width to make sure it isn't spreading horizontally to create second page?

Hi duane. yes, i brought in the width. it is now 7.25 inches with 0.3 inches borders. on the second page, only the report header and footer show. nothing in the middle since all the data printed on page 1 just fine. in fact, on page 1, i have a couple of inches of proper blank space before it hits the report footer. so no problems on page 1. just that i get a second page. i do not see any hard page breaks.

my mistake. i said Report Header / footer wrong. I meant to say Page Header and Page footer. I have no report header needs. the page header and footer print on a second page with no data (the data prints just fine on page 1)

It's difficult to troubleshoot without seeing the report design. I would try take one of the reports and copy and paste controls etc into a new report to see if the issue follows.
