application server with android apps error

try to setup app server work with android apps in LAN (with wifi) environment, the apps prompting error with can't connect to xmpp account? I have no idea how it works after reading the admin guide....

can someone help

1. one x portal working fine
2. vmpro working fine
3. apps...ooops.

please help

i setup in internal LAN, i don't know how to set up the xmpp server? or do i need to setup?
During the installation, i was stuck on this xmpp domain name?

If you only wan to use it internally then you can use 127.0.0.1 or localhost.

Modify the DNS server for internal networking and point a URL to the ip address of the one-x server, use the URL as the xmpp domain.

Then enter the URL in the android phone et voilá working.

Here is how we got it working. I also had that error. We had our IT dept set up an FQDN that resolved to our public IP. They then port forwarded 8444, 5239, and 5222 to the private IP of the One-x server. On my phone under Server Name I put the FQDN. I programmed the Server Domain Name to be the FQDN. In One-x admin under IM/Presence I programmed the XMPP Domain Name as the FQDN. It works like a charm.
