We have a remote telco that is converting their CO to SIP. They say that SIP needs two winks to send CID info, and that the standard ES trunk type wont work, but OT trunk type will. With the current config, the call rings in (1st wink) and when the 911 dispatch picks up to answer, the originating end sees that as the 2nd wink and only then does it spill the CID data.

My Meridian doesn't have that but in the STRI field of the trunk instead of WNK I see DDL which appears to maybe be what the remote CLEC is needing. Has anyone used DDL on their switch?

Correction to the 2nd paragraph...

I should have said my Meridian doesn't have a designation between ES or OT trunk types, but in in the STRI field of the trunk instead of WNK I see DDL which appears to maybe be what the remote CLEC is needing. Has anyone used DDL on their switch?
