Chaps,

I'm using a Panasonic Cordless phone on an iPECS 50B.

Problem: Client wants to transfer a call using the directory (phonebook) on the cordless. So, they answer the call, Press 'R' and scroll through the phonebook to get to the internal or external contact. (External contacts are prefixed with a 9)but they dont make it to the directory before it times out.

There is no apparent settings on the cordless itself but wondering if any of the station timers through the iPECS would sort it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Steve

It was working when I left it!

I suggest you check your flash recall timers ( minimum & maximum hook fish timer ) , I had the same problem in ipecs MG , you must change the flash timer for Panasonic phones is usually around 600msec which is more than the default on the Ipecs system

Dial Tone shoul be There

I'd also check the 'inter digit timer'. This is 5 seconds in default i think. Basically as soon as you press recall a timer will start and if you've not pressed another digit in that time then you will get the timeout tone.

Cheers
