I'm currently programming a Micros system Version 4.1. My client wants a custom text screen where a server can type something/anything to print to the kitchen/bar printers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could you just turn on "info required" for a zero priced menu item or condiment? Won't that automatically bring the keyboard up on the POS and servers could type away... limited # of characters of course.

Thanks. I am working on integration of my program with Micros softwares. I read on this forum that you may be can help people with integration. I wanted to talk more about that.
I want to open check (order) on Micros POS with ordered items. How can i send orders to the Micros POS?

TechGuru - It sounds like you're trying to write an application that can open/access checks. If that's the case you may have to contact Micros directly. The API's to interact with operations at that level aren't accessible to the general public, they require you to purchase a license from Micros.
