Can you assign a Macro in Excel to a "Windows Key" combo?

Can VBA be used to assign a macro to run after a Windows Key Combo is pressed.  I can't seem to find a reference to this anywhere.

It does not look like it.  The OnKey help indicates a lot of codes for various "special" keys, but not the windows key.

No, is the short answer. You can dig out the codes and make the assignment, but you can not rely on the key combo being passed through. I have tried this before (in Word) and I can't honestly remember whether anything at all happened, but I do remember it was a non-starter.

Enjoy,
Tony

The long answer as well...

... though the very long answer is "via subclassing?"
