Hipatth 4000 V3.0 to SIP from PSTN

The Hipath manuals seem to cover all manner of connection for SIP trunking to other Siemens systems but I find nothing that details SIP trunking to the public network. I have a few customers who are eager to convert to this for $$ savings. Is there some secret documentation out there any where that covers the basics for installing this and troubleshooting issues as I am sure there will be when trying to bring one of these into operation. I am sure Siemens training offers some insight into this but sadly that is not an option for me. Thanks for any info or reference.

This feature is documented "lightly".  Search for "SIP Service Provider" info in the SEN Service documentation.

Connecting directly to a SIP Service Provider involves using SIP Trunk "Profiles" which are located directly on the STMI(x) board, accessible via Web-Based Management. The IP address/hostname, port numbers, etc for connecting to the SIP Service Provider is entered via Web-Based Management directly on the STMI board. The Large Enterprise GateKeeper is NOT USED.
