Is there a way to change caller name display to display user's name instead of the company name when calling out?  Currently company name display with user's number.  I want user' name to display along with user number. Doing this on a 4.1 call manager?

Not as easy as it sounds and it perhaps can't be done. I assume you're using a PRI and you'll have to check with the provider to see if they can do it and for how much extra money. As long as there's little turn over where you're at it could me a pain to manage.

As old timer said name display is a provider feature. Call them and see if they offer it.

If you want and it sounds like you do, to send each users name with their individual ext.
You will need to verify the digits your vendor is receiving from you and have them assiociate a name to each ext.
there, ofcourse, is a cost for this and the upkeep of names to extensions, depending on turn over, can be very demanding.

you can in your "mask" send out the user extension, without a name, to give the caller a number to call back on to reach the individual user.
