Curlycord,

It may not be the right question.  We are looking at implementing an IP PBX in conjunction with our Nortel.  What we would like to to do is have 4 digit dialing from the Nortel the IP PBX. We would like to be able to move the extensions from the Nortel to the IP PBX keeping the same extensions.  I haven't been able to that at this time.  If you have any thoughts I would appreciate them.

" What we would like to to do is have 4 digit dialing from the Nortel the IP PBX"

Possible via E&M cards or PRI

"We would like to be able to move the extensions from the Nortel to the IP PBX keeping the same extensions."

Each system must have there own range.
example: Norstar has exts 2XXX means the other system must have 3XXX or 4XXX or 5XXX etc.

Somebody can chime in with more ideas/info or if I am reading wrong....which has been the case this week.
