Voicemail Pro 8.0 with C110 - UMS via Exchange 2007

Hi all,

I am getting used to the new C110 for VMPro, but do not know how to set up UMS with Exchange 2007.  I could not find it in the documentation, but it appears you have to load some client onto a separate PC that also have Outlook loaded for the MAPI configuration.  Can anyone help me wiht this set up?

Thanks

Thanks, but I have used this guide and have installed UMS with Exchange 2007 many times, but never on the C110.  I obviously cannot load Outlook onto the module, so I wanted to see if anyone has experience or docs specific to the C110 Module and UMS with Exchange.

Thanks

You need a PC with Outlook and then download the VM Pro MAP agent from the C110 (Now called the UCM).  This will install a WIndows service on the Outlook PC and relay the traffic from the UCM to Exchange.

Thanks Kyle.  I thought that was the case as well, but I just found page 39 of tech tip 140 to make it seem like it is possible to set it up in exchange rather than another PC.

If that is the case, it is great since I do not want to have another PC just for the integration and would resort to a standard Windows 08 server at that point.

Thanks again for the reply!  Now that I found this, I will try setting it up in our lab and letting you know if it works.

Thanks
