Passing a CTN back out from Avaya CM5.2, not DID

Hi all, hoping you can help. Frist time on here so please bear with me and will try and answer any questions best I can.

Situation - Customer calls on mobile 07771 XXXXXX. We use a Cisco ICM routing platform and deliver to Avaya IP agent A (VDN1234).
Agent A then transfers the call back out on an 08454 XXXXXX number. This routes back to ICM (for various reasons so VDN - VDN isnt an option) I need the original customer mobile number to be passed back out and not the Switch CLi.

Now, if I make a call into the switch but get all calls into VDN1234 to auto dial out 08454 XXXXXX , the customer CTN is passed without issue. Only when the agent answers the call do I lose it.

Could this be trunk related?  All searches I've seen are around allocating the DID to the outgoing call not the number the customer called in on.

Anyone any ideas if i can do the above?

Many thanks
