Hi,

I am trying to install one x R8 on SBS 2011 server however when installing it does not put in the services therefore unable to run One X.

Has anyone come across this and know a solution?

is it SBS 2011 Std?

If so, you are entitled to run server 2008 r2 in a virtual environment too. (hyper-V)

Don't run voicemail pro, or other apps like One-X on a domain controller. (DNS port usage)

Thats what I would do.

Yeah it's SBS 2011 standard, so you think hyper V be the best solution.

Is it easy to install and manage?

also i have found you have to be logged in as administrator to get the service to install properly.

I would never ever do this on a SBS server at all.
Too much hassle with all those other tasks.

Most ICT guys do not even like the DC and exchange on one server which is already the case on a SBS system.
