I have IP500 R6.0, I have tried every manner of trying to get the time to sync properly, but no matter what I do, it's always behind by 1:10.  I have set the time server ip to every option I can think of.  I even tried to mess with the offset to at least get it within 5 minutes of the correct time, but it will not change no matter what I do.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have tried everything from my own Manager PC to various other pc's on the office to the server and even an internet time server.  SSA's time is consistent with the time on the phones.

To synch with a pc.... Manager needs to be installed, Manager needs to be open at the time it attempts a synch and you need to tell the system to use that pc and that it's Manager it's using, if using the internet/SNTP you need to set it to SNTP using Manager and enter the server address...if doing this, can the system ping the time server address you used? You can't just change the address from one thing to another smile

I am sitting on site right now, with manager open, as soon as the line clears I will reboot and see if it sync's to my laptop.  I'll keep you posted.  Thanks

it did not work, i'm checking with with my firewall guy right now.  But i'm using an internal address so I can't imagine that would be an issue.

The firewall on your laptop I meant, also is Manager set to act as time server? We have hundreds of systems that time synch with Manager/VM and SNTP from the net and none of them fail. It is an issue with your particular setup, it's just finding what it is smile

i broke down and just made a system phone and adjusted the time that way.  Now onto the next problem...
