Hi

we have upgraded a CS1000M SG to Rel. 7.5.
After the upgrade we run into a problem with analog devices connected to an Audiocodes MP-112 (NRS with H323 Setup).
Analog devices can receive calls but are not able to make outgoing calls. Internal and external calls are affected. In H323Trace (on Linux server) we can see that there is an disconnect from NRS (i believe so).
In IP Trunk enhanced trace (entc) we can see all incoming calls but no outgoing informations.
On the previous Release 5.5 everything worked without problems.

Has anybody experienced the same problems?

regards

Andreas

not sure if this will help, but another post had this related to H.323 on 7.x (not AudioCodes) but it was to do with H.323 Tunneling (h.245)

Had the same issue after I upgraded to 7.5 co-res. The calling site was still at 6.0.

turning off h.245 tunneling on both systems and a sig serv reboot on the 7.5 cleared the issue. There is NO patch yet written for this as Nov 5th 2011.

I shared this post with Avaya TAC, and they gave me the following instructions.

log into the sig serv hosting the H323 trunks and type vxShell.

then stat tunniling and disable tunneling.

For Rel 7.0

1. First check the state of H245Tunneling is ON or NOT, give

vtrk npmH245TunnelingState

Note:
0-Disable
1-Enable

2. To disable H245Tunneling , give

vtrk npmH245TunnelingDisable

For Rel 4.5 and 6.0

1. To check the Tunneling status Login to vxshell, give pdt>vxshell

    vxshell>npmH245TunnelingState

2. To disable H245Tunneling

    vxshell>npmH245TunnelingDisable

Now if these commands dont work all try this:

vtrk q931MultiplexingEnable to turn H.245 on < - for rls 7.x
vtrk q931MultiplexingDisable to turn H.245 off < - for rls 7.x

Hi

actually we can make outgoing calls from audiocodes but we have
no speechpath.
Incoming calls working fine. We have disabled h245 tunneling and q931 multiplexing on signalingserver but still the same problem.

problem solved.

Open H.245 Before connect message was the key.
