Voice Portal unable to decode SIP message from AudioCodes Mediant 3K

Trying to get a Mediant3K working with Voice Portal 5.1. Calls work fine from M3K to CM, from CM to VP but not from M3K to VP.

Trace in VP states VP is unable to decode the SIP message with an error 2017 at line 311.

I've downgraded the M3K software to match the config note, gone through every setting on the M3K and SM to match the config note and still the same error.

The error doesn't tell you which section of the invite it is having an issue with.

Anyone run into this and know of any fix?

Resolved the issue. The default user-agent name is not acceptable to the Voice Portal. Modification of the user-agent name corrected the parsing issue. Unfortunately the SIP stack doesn't give the location of the parsing error.

Interestingly the configuration notes have the user-agent input block circled, shows blank, and doesn't have any note on input. Almost like it was intentionally left out of the notes.
