Hello all I just wanted to reach out and see if maybe anyone has set this up.
CSK1 6.0
I have a customer who is Conf Calling 2 outside parties and wanting to drop out of the call so it leaves the 2 outside parties connected, right now it disconnects the 2 parties

from the feature guide:

At least one party in the conference must be a telephone on the local system for the duration
of the conference call.

I think that statement is for more than 3 on a call. At least I know I have no issues with 3, I drop out all the time. I'll connect a customer and a vendor together via conference and when they don't need me anymore I drop out and they continue the conversation with no problems. I've never tried with more than me and 2 others though.

maybe you can try FTTU in the CLS of the phone you are using?

My set is programmed with FTTU and I initiated a 3-way conference and dropped the call. Both the other ends of the conference remained together. I didn't try a conference with more than 3 parties.

Here is what I think:  If the route is COT, the call will drop.  If it is DID, WAT, or TIE, the call can remain.

telebub, what was the route type for your test call?  If not COT, can you perform that test on a COT type route?
