Disconnect Question for AA "Afterhours" GreetingHelpful Member!

I have a CICS 8 x16 running 7.1 w/CLID tied to a Startalk Flash running 2.0 software.
My problem is getting the call to disconnect after the caller hears the after-hours menu play. I also have CCR built for this customer (Tree 1) to use during their normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Are you saying that you want the AA to disconnect after the greeting plays or that the call is hung up in the system???

Make the CCR path an INFORMATION PATH and 1 of your options to complete the build of the path shoud be Disconnect.

Thanks to all that have responded. As I remember no one is  complaining of getting stuck..the customer just does not want the caller to have any other option other than disconnect after listening to the after hours greeting.

Thanks Again Too All!

Hawks has it right. Make path 0 for your night CCR and infobox and then set the option to disconnect after the info is heard.

Here is what is in the Flash at present.

Is there a way to salvage any of this or do I need to start from scratch?

Thanks

You cannot make a greeting disconnect....only a Path in CCR can do that.

Most people use CCR for this.
"For company hours press1"
Path 1 = INFO , record your hours then have it disconnect.

If you have set the morning, afternoon, evening and non bus hours you should be able to have only your non business greeting play after hours by setting business open to (N) after hours. The flash will allow for only that greeting to play.

The receptionist has to change it when she leaves and when she comes in.You can program a button on her phone F982.Your non-bus greeting is 4. The internal clock will regulate which greeting will play at the time you set the hours for from Mon. thru Friday along with Sat. Sun. If your business closes at 4:30 then set your non business hours for that Monday thru Friday. Then for Saturday and Sunday you set you morning, afternoon, and evening for 12:00am/2;00am/4:00 am and non business to start at anytime after that. This will ensure greeting 1 never plays on weekends.

Sorry i didn't notice it was a flash, only one CCR per table. So a different CCR for after hours is not possible.

Also looking at your CCR there is no need for sub-menus 2 and 4 as there is only one choice, change them to xfer points not menus. Menu 5 could just be 0 unless you are disabling zero as a dialing option or make it also a xfer point, again a menu heere is redundant.
