3COM HP NBX V5000 Memory Upgrade 3C10233 Alternative Third Party RAM

Like most things NBX-related this memory upgrade has been cancelled by HP/3COM. After doing a lot of digging I found a compatible replacement. If you need this upgrade, the compatible part number is:

Micron MT16LSDT3264AG-10EE1

I would also ensure the chip says:

PC100-222-620
256 MB, SYNCH, 100MHz, CL2

Buying the official kit was quoted at ~$300 from a reseller, while spares of the same chip can be found on eBay for around $15! Just wanted to share this information in case anyone ever needs this upgrade.
