I have a customer with a PRI.  Does the PRI act like a rollover group on regular lines.  That is, are there number associated with the 23 channels and the numbers roll from one to the other.  Occasionally, a caller will get a fax machine on the second ring.  I have checked control sets, cfwd no ans and busy, line appearances, target line assignments, and prime set assignments.  There are no fax lines assigned to sets and no sets assigned to fax (ATA) assigned to a set.  Cannot explain how the fax is answering.  I sent a fax to the MLN when the fax answered, but cannot find the fax on any fax in the building.  Wrote on fax for person to call me.....no calls..  Any ideas.   I must admit I am at a loss.  System has been restarted, with no change apparent.

tks

is there a FastRad attached to the system? if so, unplug it for awhile and see if your problem goes away. then you can check to see if the fastrad is set to answer a target line on a certain number of rings.

when you ordered the PRI a set of numbers should have been supplied, also you should have asked for ascending or descending order on the PRI calls

Turned out to be RAD as suggested above.  Not certain why.  RAD had on DID and was set to answer after 7 rings.  Main set was not forwarded to RAD.  But, hard to argue with sucess and no fax tone.

thanks for the help.

nice! good to know it worked.  F9** will let you check which target line the rad was answering.
