I am using Procomm plus 4.8.

I use it for dialing into all my PBX's.

I want to set up an automatic capture file.  I have gone into setup files, capture, setup and chosen the recording option of write text as it appears on screen.  The setup file name is default.cap.

However, how can I set up an automatic capture to prepend either a date or number (ie. sitename01.cap) when I connect?

This used to do this a coupel of years ago, but I don't know how it did it and I haven't been able to duplicate it.

I have tried using the query for file name on capture, but it doesn't seem to safe these settings for the next time I connect.

I don't know how to write any scripts, so I'm hoping that there is another way.

Thanks for your assistance.

I thought I posted a reply a while back, but there are several example capture files on the samples page of my site that should get you going,.
