Trying to setup a hotline phone that will ring at 10 different phones simultaneously. It's a wall phone at a secure entrance that needs to ring at all 10 users phones in the secure area at the same time.

Tried the hotline phone setup and it works but I can only get it to ring at 1 station.

Anyone have any experience setting this up?

Thanks.

Have the Hotline call an x-ported station.  Put bridged appearances of the x-ported station on the 10 phones.

I had tried that originally but it wouldn't work. Then I realized that I was putting the wrong button number for the bridged appearances. Thanks.

You could set up a CAG (coverage answer group) with the 10 numbers, then set the hotline to call the CAG.

a coverage answer group will only allow 8 extensions, i believe. and if yuo want the folks fielding the calls to ahve the ability to transfer you'll need more than one button appearance of the main extension on all of the covering extensions.
