Lines 63 and 64 keep having issues and a reboot fixes the issue for a short time. The symptoms are that you can make calls on them but when an incoming call comes in you cannot see any indication of it ringing. You can press the line button and answer it. The phone company has checked the voltages and said that they are within spec. Any thoughts?

There is a patch that addresses this issue and there were known problems with the milliamps causing issues on 61-64 on the R1 systems.  Hang tight and I will try and find the exact patch number or bulletin.

BCM50 ANALOG TRUNK PORTS 61-64 FAILURE - PATCH UPDATES

BACKGROUND
The purpose for this bulletin update is to inform customers about the release of newer patches
that contain the fix for BCM50 main unit analog trunk ports 61-64 failures. These newer patches
not only replace the original patch, but also include additional fixes for non-related issues.
ANALYSIS
Symptoms are generally loss of function on one or more of Analog Trunk Ports 61-64. This loss
of function begins within a few days of installation and can be restored with a system restart, only
to reoccur a few days later.
The newer patch for this issue, BCM050.039-DSP-FPGA has been released. This patch has
also been included in BCM50 Cumulative Patch 1. Both of these are available through Nortel
Technical Support at www.nortel.com/support.
Affected systems are any of the following products that use the on board 4 analog trunk
interfaces:

This issue does not affect analog trunks that are on external expansion units using Media Bay
Modules or systems that do not use analog trunks.
The patch also includes content from a previously released patch (BCM50 FPGA Patch)
- Resolves an issue where Music On Hold may not initialize correctly on system start up.
This patch also includes fixes for other issues as follows and will replace existing patches for
these issues that are currently in Beta trial.
- Improvements in T.38 fax at high speeds
- Soft modem connection reliability under certain line conditions
- Ability to send DTMF tones on trunks administered for pulse dialing
- Stability issues associated with generation of alarms 40004 and 40005
RECOMMENDATIONS
This patch should be applied to all new system installs. Units already installed in the field that
are exhibiting any of the symptoms of the issues addressed in this patch should have the patch
applied. Units already in the field that are not exhibiting any of the symptoms should be patched
at the next regular maintenance opportunity.

I have the same issue, where the BCM050.039-DSP-FPGA patch can be found ?

It might have been incorporated with the last SU update BCM050.SU.System.008-200806-1.0-1.0.zip. This update would have been the last one issued for the release 1 BCM 50 systems.
