I searched the net and could not find the answer.

I would like to know if it's possible to add an outlook express (version 6) on my google chrome page , just like the one I have and use all the time in my internet explorer ( that little envelope top right corner..)

can it be done. I do not want to use a gmail address. I want to use my main email account.

can it be done, and how to please?

Google created chrome and Gmail, Microsoft created Outlook and Internet Explorer.

Though the mail icon on the IE toolbar will open the default mail client for your Windows setup which may, or may not, be Outlook Express.

Outlook Express is/was integrated into the Windows operating system, Internet Explorer is integrated into the Windows operating system.

Google chrome is a third party application that is NOT integrated into the operating system.
More to the point it is a third party web browser and web browsers are NOT allowed that kind of access to the operating system for reasons that should be fairly obvious.

So the answer is; No you cannot.
