Lync Dialling from Outlook

Hi

Hoping someone can assist please.
We are running Lync, this is integrated with our PBX / telephone system.
The problem we have is we cant get outlook to automatically insert a "9" when dialling from a contact / clicking to dial.
If we manually insert a "9" this works fine.

Is there a way to get outlook 2010 to automatically insert a 9.

Tried modifying modem options to no avail.

In 2007, and I can't imaine that 2010 would be any less

New Call > Dialing Properties > Edit > Dialing Rules

and then whatever.
