I have a form bound to a table. The table has 2000 rows.

The form displays 1 row of data using textboxes, comboboxes, listboxes, etc.

Currently, to move through the table, the navigation buttons are used.

I want to have a button that will pop up a summary list of the recordset in a listbox. The user would then scroll through the listbox. Clicking on an entry would return the user to the original form with the current recordset item set to the item selected from the listbox.

I already know the mechanics of creating a listbox and adding/selecting items. I just don't know how to populate the listbox with the same recordset being used with the bound form.

How do I get to the bound recordset?

I really don't want to unbind the form since I want the user to be able to browse the rows using the navigation buttons as well.

I think I found the answer. Is this it?

Dim Myrst as DAO.Recordset
Set Myrst = Forms!Form1.Recordset
