combo cards issue

Have an IP500 v2 with 2 combo cards one ATm, other BRI4. I need to replace the BRI4 with an ATM combo card but any ATM card I put in instead of it comes up as unknown and no analogue trunk ports are recognised. If I put back in the BRI4 combo card it works fine. Anyone met this issue before pls?

You probably need to upgrade to 7.0.23.
Why on earth do they change from BRI to ATM anyway?

Actually I lent my client a BRI card to work with to accomodate extra digital extensions until I had the ATM cards in stock. Obviously there are not much advantages doing your customer a favour like that, especially in this case!

The problem is that you have a newer card then the older cards.
The newer cards only work on 7.0.23 and up.

from where can I get 7.0.23 as I cannot see it under 7.0 downlaods

I though the new cards would work on V7.0.12
I would not recommend either 7.0.23 or 7.0.232702
both seem to have numerous bugs.


Computers are like Air conditioners:-
Both stop working when you open Windows

Have you totally deleted the old combo card? only 2 can be put in at once.

OK, from where can I get 7.0.12 then as it seems the safest choice?

from the avaya web site in the same location as all the other IP Office firmware
