Hello,

I am new to the LL world and I would like to have some help in order to start in the right direction.

I would like to customize the 'Versions' tab in the item properties page, in order to add a column displaying an attribute of my choice (description for example).

Is it possible?
What kind of modifications do I have to make?

Note: I work with the 10.0 version.

Your best bet is to look and see if the data you want is available on the page already, if not you will need to write some OScript on the page to get it for you and put it where you want. I would recommend using CustomizationsRT to manage your new file so that future upgrades of the original page do not break your functionality, see http://www.greggriffiths.org/livelink/development/weblingo/customizationsrt/ for more and http://www.greggriffiths.org/livelink/customisations/ for some examples.

Greg having never found time to mess with the facets api do you think something like this could work or is that limited to the container view and not the nodeview that she wants to manipulate

Well, if I called the wrong number, why did you answer the phone?

As far as I am aware, the Facets API is limited to the Browse view rather than the Properties page, but it could be used to pull through the Attribute onto the Browse page.
