Where in the world do Tek-Tips members come from?

Afternoon all,

This morning i have come into the office and 2 pcs on the first floor have no network connection, I checked all the cables back to the switch with a network tester and there all showing fine,
I plugged another PC into the two ports that appear not to be working and it worked fine.

So i thought the PCs must be at fault so plugged them into other ports on the first floor and nothing, brought them down to the ground floor where the cab is and plugged them in and they worked fine ???

Any ideas i could try ?

Thanks

Matt
