Hello,

I need your help. 3 month ago we started to have problems in Dataease. We have Dataease running in a Novell 4.11 Server with 15 licences and Windows 98 workstations with Client 3.1.  All Dename are unique. But the time in time appears this error:

"The resource you selected is currently in use:
....TECNGAAA.DBM OR TECNGAAA.I03, ETC
"n" attemps to access resource, pres esc to abort..

Dataease Configuration is:
For "View or Modify FOrm": Shared
In "Record Entry": None
Reports has been "Save" or "Loaded": Shared
Runing de reports the data are: Lock records
When the report data is locked by record, the files used for the data selection are: lock nothing.

We have 3 database: Production, Test and San Cristobal. Only one have problems the others no.

Verify the server, netware cards, machines, check physical net, noise in the net, free spaces... But the problem persist.

In novell, what is the best configuration? , What can I do to descover the problem and to fix it?

Thanks for all
Liliana Grippi
