We have a WAS 6 express server running on iSeries v5r4

When you enter a typical link to a web application:

https://www-2.cfib-fcei.ca/was/eRock/menu/eRockMenu.jsp

You get this login page:

https://www-2.cfib-fcei.ca/names.nsf?Login&RedirectTo=/was/eRock/menu/eRockMenu.jsp

And you can login ok.

I have installed and configured a WAS 7 express server on v7r1 iSeries

When you click on the same link above, you get this login page:

https://www-2.cfib-fcei.ca/names.nsf?Login&RedirectTo=/washttp:///eRock/menu/eRockMenu.jsp

and you get a page not found when you log in.

Both these servers are authenticated by the same Domino 8.5.1 server runing on Windows 2003 server, and use the same firewall.

SSO is configured okay, because after the Page Not Found, you don't get prompted to log in again if you click a link

I need to replace the WAS 6 server with the WAS 7 server, but I can't do it until I fix this URL problem. Any ideas of what settings need to be changed?

Something is adding the http:// in one server and not in the other.

Thanks,
Jim

I am replying to my own thread because we have discovered more information. In the URL, everything after the
https://www-2.cfib-fcei.ca/names.nsf?Login&RedirectTo= comes from a cookie.

Given the same initial link, why is WAS 7 putting
/washttp:///eRock/menu/eRockMenu.jsp into the cookie, while WAS 6 is putting
/was/eRock/menu/eRockMenu.jsp into the cookie?
