Customer has G3v13
Setup virtual extension with a cover path to a cover answer group.

This has been working fine. Now customer wants to add an additional digital phone with bridged appearances of one of the desk phones.

I noticed that calls coming from the cover answer group will not ring on the bridged appearance. Once the call is answered on the non-bridged appearance, say extension 1234, line 1, you do not see the call appearing on the bridged appearance of 1234, line one.

If I call the bridged appearance directly, both ring, and appear on both non-bridged and bridged appearances. I am using the cover answer group in order to get analog cordless phones to ring when the person has to go to the back, and this is working. I know of no other way to get the analog and the digitals to ring. The bridged appearances mimics a key system type of arrangement so that someone can get a call off of hold on the second phone.

Very strange that I am having the exact same issue. It was working for months and stopped working a few weeks ago. I have had Avaya look at my issue and their tier 1 says I am configured correctly, and I am still waiting to hear from tier 2. Here is a link to my post.

I apologize, but after rereading your post it is not exactly the same but very similar. I was think you already had it working as I had.
