ActiveReports - Print Totals at beginning and end of report

(OP)
I have to print totals at the beginning and end of an active report. The basic structure of the main report is as follows:

ReportHeader1 (prints search criteria for the report)
Detail1
subReport1 (prints totals calculated in subReport2)
subReport2 (prints report details and calculates totals)
subReport3 (prints totals calculated in subReport2)
ReportFooter1

The totals have to be manually calculated inside the code for subReport2. SubReport1 and subReport3 are exactly the same, they are just located on different parts of the main report. It is easy enough to print the totals at the end of the report on subReport3 because that subReport is rendered after the totals have been calculated. But, how can I get the totals to print on subReport1?
