Ada error messages

Ada error messages

(OP)
Hi everyone,
I am new to ADA and I am trying to learn it. I have installed the GPS development environment and had tryed it with a a hello world programm. Everything worked ok with that one. Then I have tryed another program but this time, I have copyed paste it from an electronic book.It defines a package and its body. Inside it deals with tasks.
When I compile it, it gives me an error: "1:8 keyword body; expected here [see file name]". When I check it, everything is as it should be...??? Can some one help me? I just don't know what to do.
Also, can some one tell me where can I find all error messages with their explanations for GPS ADA compiler. It is not in their manuals.
Thanks in advance
Sasha

RE: Ada error messages

Can you post the code?  Without seeing what is on line 1 column 8, it is hard to tell.  It may be line terminations.

RE: Ada error messages

Barry, please start a new thread.  It may be related to sashad's post but it may be a different problem.  When the mvps answer the questions, you may think that they are answering your problem when the are answering someone else's.  Then everything gets really confused.
