Sun Blade 1500 not powering on

My Sun Blade 1500 (Silver) is not powering on after a power outage. When I press the front power on button, the power supply fan and the CPU fan spins up for one second then the system shuts itself off. No system beeps or lights on the power switch LED turn on.

Please advise.

Sounds maybe like the PSU has gone bad (are there two, one you could swap to?), are there any lights on the PSU at the rear? Difficult to diagnose if you're not getting any output whilst booting. Do you have a support contract?
