Is it possible to network win2000 pro with a computer that is running win98 SE on it? If so how would I set it up to share printers?

Yes.  You need to install file and print sharing.  You need to install ipx/spx and you should also install tcpip.  Win 9.x computers use netbios to resolve names, so you need ipx/spx or netbuei.  You then can map connections to the resource from network neiborhood or by using unc. \\mycomputer\share
