Hi All,
I have downloaded the weblogic server 10.3.3 from the Oracle site and now I am unable to start the weblogic server.
What are the environmental variables to be set to run weblogic server from cmd mode ?

Hi Dian,

Thanks for repsonding.
Can you tell me what environment variables I need to set ? [ for ex: classpath , path etc ..]
I have setWLSEnv.cmd file in wls1033_dev\wlserver\server\bin folder.
When I click on that , the screen opens and closes immediately , leaving no time for me to read the messages on the console.

You can either:

- Open the script with notepad and look at the variables set
- Start > Run > cmd > wls1033_dev\wlserver\server\bin\setWLSEnv.cmd to see the messages

Anyway, keep in mind that the command to start the server is startWebLogic.cmd

Cheers,
Dian

Ok. I will try that.
I have noticed that StartWebLogic.cmd file is not there in my installable.
I donwloaded it from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/wls-main-097127.html.

I need version 10.3.3.

Not sure if they have removed the StartWebLogic.cmd file in this version or If I am missing something.

Any suggestions ?

Is weblogic free? I have a feeling that its not free and hence I am not able to see the file "startWeblogic.cmd" ?
Kindly Clarify

Sorry, the path I gave you may be wrong, the startup script should be in the domain directory, as shown in the link I gave you.

Cheers,
Dian
