Trying to figure out why i have the wrong file version

Trying to figure out why i have the wrong file version

(OP)
Hi All,

I made a small commit to a file but I think somehow the previous version had some kind of branch on it.  When I do an update I see the previous version as the current. I tried merging back to HEAD but I always get a branched version.

The previous file was version 1.180 - my change is 1.181 how can I make 1.81 the real version that I'd get on a checkout?
