Outbound Caller ID

Outbound Caller ID

(OP)
How do you change the outbound caller id on certain phones so that some phones call out from one number and some from another?

RE: Outbound Caller ID

Below is what you will need to add to the dial plan. You will also need to make sure that the extensions 1000 and 1001 in this example are configured to use this pre-translator for callerID after adding it to the dialplan

PreTranslator Create 2 Outbound Caller ID
PreTranslatorISDNNumberType 2 2
/                         PreTransId Entry Digits
/                         ---------- ----- ------

PreTranslatorEntry Create          2    10 1000
PreTranslatorEntry Create          2    11 1001

/                             PreTransId Entry OperId Operation  Value
/                             ---------- ----- ------ ---------  -----
PreTranslatorOperation Create          2    10      1 replace    3231237890
PreTranslatorOperation Create          2    11      1 replace    3231231234

That resolved my dial-plan issues exactly. Thank you.
