Juniper IVE Software

Juniper IVE Software

(OP)
Hi

I have a Juniper IVE unit which is an RMA. It needs to go back into a pair, but the other device has a different OS and I cannot find the revision we are using to download - 4.1.1R4.

Is it possible to ftp or tftp the OS off and on to the new unit?

Thanks

RE: Juniper IVE Software

V4.1.1 of the IVE is available at:
https://www.juniper.net/techpubs/software/ive/4.x/4.1.1/#doc

If not, why don't you merely upgrade your older 4.1.1 unit to current software to match the newer unit? always a bad idea to downgrade..

4.1.1 is 5-6 years old and isn't supported anyway...6.x is recommended.

Is it possible to ftp or tftp the code off of the older unit and downgrade the replacement. When I follow your link it only has 4.1R0 showing and documentation for other releases.

Thanks
