Text missing in PDF

I have a big FrameMaker document, 1116 pages to be exact. When I save the book as a PDF file, some of the text after page 771 is missing. Does Adobe Distiller have a page limit as how many pages it can distill at one time? Does anyone know why I am missing text in the PDF file?

I also tried printing the book to a ps file and then distilled it. Same result.
