Backup Exec Linux Agent setting diff backups

We currently run Backup Exec and put their Linux agent on our newly acquired Red Hat system. The issue were running into is were unable to find the setting permitting us to run a differential. At this point in time were running full backups nightly and it takes 2 tapes per back up. Please advise if anyone knows of a way to modify the agent to back diff instead of full.
