VAX Floating Point to IEEE754 conversion

VAX Floating Point to IEEE754 conversion

(OP)
I am working on an interface between a VAX VMS machine.  Unfortunately, this interface is pre-existing on the VAX and it utilizes 32 and 64 bit floating point types to represent some fields in the msgs.  Unfortunately as we have discovered, the VAX VMS floating Point representation is different then the one used by most modern machines (IEEE 754).  Im developing this interface in ADA83 and was curious if anyone had any information on how floaing points are represented in the VAX and if they know of any existing ADA conversion routines between the two formats.  Thanks for the help.
