Adding navigation buttons that link to other blog site

Adding navigation buttons that link to other blog site

Adding navigation buttons that link to other blog site

(OP)
I have a blog that I would like to add the navigation tabs at the top so that they link to another blog vs. linking to pages within the current blog.

and the code for that header area I've pasted below.  I can't seem to figure out what I need to modify so that I can add additional tabs in the top main navigation, but then point those tabs to other outside URLs.

for example I want to add a 'Entertainment' tab next to 'Business and Finance' and that URL would be:

CODE

<div id="menu">
     <ul id="nav" class="wrap">

<?php if (is_page()) { $highlight = "page_item"; } else {$highlight = "page_item current_page_item"; } ?>

<li class="<?php echo $highlight; ?> first"><a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>"><span><?php _e('Business & Finance',woothemes); ?></span></a></li></ul>

</div>

RE: Adding navigation buttons that link to other blog site

for those that might be interested in the resolution, the answer is simply: html...

CODE

<div id="menu">
     <ul id="nav" class="wrap">

<?php if (is_page()) { $highlight = "page_item"; } else {$highlight = "page_item current_page_item"; } ?>

<li class="<?php echo $highlight; ?> first"><a href="<?php bloginfo('url'); ?>"><span><?php _e('Business & Finance',woothemes); ?></span></a></li>

<li><a href="http://entertainment.test.com">Entertainment</a></li>
</ul>

</div>

Hi, I figured it out and the answer is HTML, but the above example you gave will not work because it will not keep the correct navigation style.  the answer is simply:

<li class="<?php echo $highlight; ?>"><a href="http://www.test.com/about-us/"><?php _e('TEST',woothemes); ?></a></li>
