Platform Support of MimerSQL (Symbian, WinMobile, iPhone, Android...)

Platform Support of MimerSQL (Symbian, WinMobile, iPhone, Android...)

(OP)
Hello all,

I am searching for a solution there I can store data on nearly every mobile platform in the same manner. Currently Mimer and db4o are the preferred candidates.

Now my questions:
- are there any other ways to persist data on a mobile platform to eliminate the differences of each platform?
- Does Mimer support
  - Windows Mobile? If so which version should WM have at least?
  - Blackberry OS?
  - iPhone OS?
  - Android?
  - Symbian seems to be properly supported...

In fact I search for a solution for persisting data (ideally SQL-based but no must) for nearly every mobile phone platform?

The next question is the licensing. Any experiences in which area (per phone) the license cost are?

best regards,
Hans

RE: Platform Support of MimerSQL (Symbian, WinMobile, iPhone, Android...)

Hello Hans,
Mimer SQL is available on many different mobile and embedded platforms including Windows CE, Windows Mobile (v5 and v6), Symbian OS and Linux. Other popular mobile platforms to follow soon.

Please contact sales@mimer.com for a discussion on commercial issues.

Best regards
Stefan
