Paradox 10 update?

Paradox 10 update?

This posting is intended for Tony, i hope he reads it...
my client is using Pdx 7 they are having running slow problems, iv red your posts with great interest i will definitely try all the usual suspects....

i have a few questions, will upgrading to Paradox 10 improve speed?
In the BDE on the workstations besides local share=true, would all the other settings like "Max File Handles" "Shared Mem Size" etc, would any of those make a difference in speed?

Thanks much in advance

RE: Paradox 10 update?

not Tony (who could be?) but in respect to speed, my experience upgrading occasionally after 8 indicates that it does. 7 is pretty old. Depends on your system as well.
