I'm working on a 24-page booklet in InDesign CS3. Last time I opened the document I was having troubles with page numbers, and to solve the problem I deleted the master page (let me admit here that I am a newbie to InDesign and that was probably stupid). The only thing on the master was page numbers.

Now when I tried to delete a page, either by selecting the textbox and hitting delete or by removing it via the pages palette, it won't delete. Instead it inserts a blank page and moves everything down a page. This happens anywhere in the document. I'm not sure if the master page deletion is related to this problem, but it's the only thing I can think of that I've done to mess up anything.

Any idea what I messed up and how to fix it? Thanks.
