RE: how to disconnect users from a old filer through CLI command lines

sdcli disk disconnect -d M:\

or if it's a mount point, the path...

sdcli disk disconnect -d M:\mount\mountpoint1

to force the disconnect, put -f on the end.

sdcli disk disconnect -d M:\ -f

RE: how to disconnect users from a old filer through CLI command lines

1.  Which Filer model?
2.  What Data Ontap version?
3.  Which host OS?
4.  What version of SnapDrive?
5.  What is the overall goal of what you are trying to do?

You mention SnapMirror as well, what do you use that for?  If you can describe what you have and what you are trying to accomplish, I'd be happy to help you as best I can.

Xmsre
